It wasn’t the nail clipping lady who was coming, but a few cat-positive people with hot laps. I slept on one of them last night. They are still here today. So many new laps to sleep on. Purrrrr.

Somebody important is coming. I don’t think when the doorbell rings it will be the nail-clipping lady. They never make this much cleaning of their nest and floors for her. Who could it be?

Do you ever dash out of the room at hearing a hiss then realize it’s just the humans starting a candle?

I came over, looked her sternly right in the eye. Maybe next time she will have consideration to not eat citrus on the pillow of my nap spot. We do have to timeshare that bed you know.

I’m saving the humans some housework. For instance, I lie on the bed so they don’t have to make it. I help them edit out papers by using them to catch my hairballs. I save them bills my creating local heat by sleeping on them at night.

I do my part. Now where’s the fish?

Is it me or is this week of cloudy cold days the best for sleeping through? None of this moving about because the sun patch moved. One place is as good as another.

They are trying to drive me mad? How long does it take to cook a fish? I’ve been prancing and pouncing and voicing my hunger. Is it as big a turkey? What’s the holdup?

Sun patches all day and tonight the humans home for me to drape.
