  • night sports

I played a fun game last night. I sat looking my most innocent on the edge of their bed. (They were asleep so the innocent look was pure pratice.)

When tom rolled over I sat on the exposed edge of his pillow. I sat on it and gradually, using something like a boa constrictor win by inches method, gained the entire pillow. I then sprawled over it, purring at my accomplishment as he then joined the game and took a corner of jane’s pillow and gradually took that over. Jane was left with none but then I started on her side gradually rolling them both over the other way by pillow-gaining.

  • unfair treatment of 4-leggers

I was fine with my lamb-rice really. It was a bit low on texture. It has been on teh menu long enough really.

    But.

When jane did that magic 10 seconds in microwave with the beep that measn its for me. When bacon came out, that definitely means its for me.

    But she ate it!

    Can you beleive some people?

Now I want at least an upgrade to tuna.

  • did I ever mention?

Did I ever mention that my post was accepted at 100 Bloggers? You may see some familiar names…

  • sing along if you know the words…

First, from web pics, turkeys! (not for sensitive viewers) and a lucky cat who is out on a fishing trip

Tom and jane seem to be well and deep asleep now. Time to test out my newly enhanced voice projection for singing to that gorgeous full moon we’ve got out there.

  • bird!

How’s a cat to sleep with all these birds going by lengthening a cat’s ears. I feel like my head is a yo-yo. Sooner or later I’ll just have to stick my nose in the crack of a chair or into some back of knee and get a proper deep sleep, birds or no birds.

  • wind snaps the flag

The wind is high and wide today. I would say around 70 kph. The seagulls are cresting the hulks of air and resting on their shoulders, only the twitch of feathers preening them in place, preventing the careening away from earth and all its hungry denizens.

  • box

How did I not notice this? The closet door has been left open again. It is the place where the plastic-box–to-doctors was kept but that left shortly after Ms. Zhou. Does this mean I shall never have to go to the doctor’s again?

  • quiet evening sitting about

Nice warm lap. I can’t curl on it just now you understand.
I’m in a standing, shifty-foot mode, although I do like the strokes and purring.
    Nice breath. Touch of cheese.

Just a sec. I need to nip over and check my food bowl

I’m back. I didn’t miss seeing a refill. Now where were y– citrus breath? Wah. Where did that come from?

Laps are good. Ahhhh. One chin on tom, one length on jane. This is the life.

    Hm? What did you say?

    Oh, not to me.

Nice breath. Touch of residue of tuna. None left I don’t suppose.

You seem, dear jane, to be making sounds at roughly the same intervals as the box and vocalizing simililar sounds but at pitches on either sides of the ones from there.

  • its strange

Sometimes when food comes down to my level (as opposed to the food I get from creeping up on counters when tom and jane aren’t looking) I always step aside. The habit is in my legs as much as my brain. I wait for Ms. Zhou to come barrelling up to take her share first. Then I realize she won’t and take my place at the bowl. It’s strange to not have to fight over getting my share. I suppose this odd feeling won’t last forever.
