Cool one today. I feel my bones creak. I get up gingerly. I feel my years but I’m glad as the hours pass, I’ll get my youth back from the sun.

Early Morning Activity
Oh the humans are making their slurp sounds and negative ion fields and making heat like a radiator.
They never seem to appreciate my joining the love fest but a pillow thrown at me is utterly unnecessary.

Night Walking
I had a premonition. Trotted in to check on them. I hopped up to check their faces. They’re ok. Maybe I just had a bad dream or overheard one of theirs.
They seem ok so I’ll just sit bedside a while and lick between my toes. Maybe curl inside their curled bodies for a while. Soon morning light will come.

Lazy
What’s you say? Shall we just nap today away? Anyone else want to join the fur pileup?

Brush
Oh yeah, right there. Behind that ear, and the jaw, don’t forget the jaw, and yes, along the length, great idea. Just hold that still, want to get my chin. Yep, very good, back to side…

Run the length of the room
I pretend I think it’s a mouse. I pretend I don’t see the red dot coming from your hand and you pretend you didn’t notice me noticing. It’s like string. It’s just fun. Make believe is good exercise.

Hairball
A hairball caught me by surprise but they can thank me. I didn’t get a drop on the hardwood. I took it straight to those absorbent papers on the desk. Whew.

Done now
We can really stop with the whole ear drop thing now. I don’t even scratch. C’mon. Stop?

Pigeon
I was sitting on the bed when one of the crazy pigeons who are cooing all their love songs landed, would you believe it, right in my balcony. Right there, on the other side of glass! I stalked up, careful to keep my head below the window sill. I could feel the rear start to wiggle. But lucky for it, it flew off.
