I’m feeling poorly. My stomach is making loud gurlrd, I have nausea and a nasal drip so maybe you might better enjoy visiting Think Like Cats? quiz on interpreting Feline body language and behavior.

  • leap

Pat the window, Leap for the stars. Do a sparrow head. No, I don’t mean maul, I mean tip the head about in neck exercise. Look all around, lively now. Now race as fast as you can from one end of the room to the other. fast turn. zip now. No room to be a lazy bones. That’s for the sunspot time.

  • resting letters

We lay on the couch, spelling out or comforts. Their legs stretched out, arms sprawled, and I wedged between we make a hindi script that resolves over time into “luv” (of his legs spread and hers straight, my legs straight and back curved) then “lol” of my being the curled ball between their long legs. How could one BE more content then this, in the patch of sunshine, radiating comfort to each other

  • lunch chimes – mrrroora ror

Daily routine is so important. Some simians have the knack. Others that I won’t mention by name don’t have the discipline to feed their furry friends promptly. It is what o’clock people? C’mon you were late dropping the red dish of manna this morning too. Catess Mror’s spirit be upon them.

  • sounds are good

feeling more my mellow self today. My colleague has been helping me relax and express through voice lessons and I let out three good long ones today plus have been working on vocalizing my “plup” of being startled, but not too badly. Mostly today I have been meditating the cosmos and walking the window ledge seeing if I can spot the white feline male kittycorner from us in the other wing of the building. He only peeked behind his blind briefly today. Maybe he has company to entertain or endure.

  • whoops??

I am no expert in simian facial expressions but that freeze-threat-posture can’t be good. Does this mean they discovered our little yellow pool? Does that mean they’ll improve their cleaning ettiquette of our facilities?

  • must clean

Someone has got to clean up around here and before they bring out that noisy machine again, I’ll get a lick’s worth in. Must lick, lick, lick, lick. Lick a tail, lick a chair seat, lick a chair leg, table leg, pant leg, lick this bit of carpet here under the table, Lick the tail again. Lick and see if I can gather any morsels from beside the stove. Like it or lick it, I’m a busy girl today.

  • hips up

I don’t know if cats do it wrong or simians but we sure take a different amount of time. It takes longer for the hairless tom to unzip than what I’d been wiggling my butt for for days for a bit of this uncut testosterone for this ivisorg_smAh, the 5 to 10 seconds of what simians call spines and I would more call speed bumps are worth the wait. To sleep perchance to dream.

  • grooming gromets

I do like to look after these hairless kits. Just tonight I was sitting in his arms and grooming his shirt and the gromets of his vest. Must keep him spit polished after all. I don’t know how he can abide being inside that treated leather anyway. I’m enjoying his company but surely it’s time for them to go to bed and give us our daily portion?

  • decent hours

The simians seem to be shifting to a more appreciable, reasonable noctural shift. They can see me at my nimble best. Too bad this place doesn’t have drapes or low hanging lamp shades or I could really show off my talents. A hot footed scramble over the loose papers and books on the window ledge will have to do. Oops. That fallen purse was not my fault.
