Haiku

Pearl Pirie has a number of chapbooks with haiku or haibun including:  we astronauts (Pinhole Poetry, 2025), Adding Up to This (Catkin Press, 2023), this small singing (phafours press, 2022), Not Quite Dawn (Éditions des petits nuages, 2020), Water loves its bridges (The Alfred Gustav Press (2020) and Eldon, letters (above/ground, 2019).

Her haiku has been published in Connected to Peace anthology (spring 2023), A Stone Garden (spring 2023), Bird whistle anthology, (spring 2023), The Wanderer Brush: Haiga of Ion Codrescu (Red Moon Press, Sept 2020), Duets (KaDo, 2010), as well as in the journals: Drifting Sands Haibun Journal, Cold Moon Journal, Presence, Halibut, Bottle Rockets, Frogpond, Haiku Canada Review and A Hundred Gourds.

She has been the coordinator of the Betty Drevniok Award since 2020, and is a former president and treasurer of KaDo Ottawa.

She has been co-tweeting for Haiku Canada with Robert Piotrowski to a 1000 followers since 2017.
