Time flies. Totally Optional Prompts is in week 3 already. It is structured with is a poem by someone else as a leap point in any way you see fit.
The current is The Horse by Ted Kooser. Before that, a Tang Dynasty poet, Liu’ Chang-ch’ing. The first was a Kenneth Rexroth translation of a poem by Akahito, circa 730 A.D.
P.S. this is spinning a little south with discussion around copyright infringement for reproduction of a poem in entirety. Heavens we must not share samples of each other, or show what we read because that’s offensive. Let’s also make sure that we turn off any CDs should someone visit either. Unless perhaps we play only snippets of tracks and press them to buy it and make clear the source. Make sure they buy their own collection. (going off to muttering legalism, beaglism shuburmmgr.)
