Other people may have known this but I hadn’t twigged in. Bytown Bookshop has a lovely blog, regular, short, topical posts. Interesting sidebar links too to presses and printing things.
They also have a searchable in stock inventory online, unlike the 3 books stores I’m likely to frequent. As exciting as it is to order in (the lottery where everyone wins, the variable is not if but when) I could see what is in stock without bundling up in winter gear and trekking out. At the moment they have 137 poetry titles on the ABE Books inventory. Somehow it’s more appealing to browse if there’s the possibility of instant gratification, even if I have the steel to not indulge.
