potential new.. oy! friend

Its best not to watch individual rain drops in wind.

Or contemplate how many millions of lives are unfolding with at least the same complexity and depth as yours.

Or the remarkable number of presses that live for years in parallel to what is known yet thru mini book expo another two Tightrope Books and Ronsdale Press which I haven’t heard of.

All with full lives behind all the complexity of each name and title.

I’d like to write them off as being not up the line of anything that would turn my crank or else I would have already encountered them but that logic feels weak.

Fife‘s life, for instance, sounds like it has taken up interesting positions for interesting stories. Stories told in a speed, angle, density, relative distance and way that I can uptake without my own perceptual filters blocking?

A site without samples of poems, only reviewer words. And so far as reviews, why don’t people review Book Thug titles. I’m not googling up much. Just a lack of critical mass of readers who also blog? The factor of smaller print run and miniscule percent of anyone who comments after consuming?

How long to chase potential new? Or perhaps when? is the question. I have 4 self-imposed deadlines today, 2 small and 2 where either will probably expand to fit any available time.
