You may have already seen my photo set from it here but there are more at the Flickr pool for the small press fair.
Here are a few samples and a bit more info:

The in/words people have a reading the last Wednesday of the month at the Clocktower Pub, 575 Bank Street. This month (the 27th) the feature will be Monty Reid.
William Hawkins signing his above/ground chapbook for Marilyn Irwin. He was there, in part, to see his new Wm Hawkins Folio by Apt 9.

Margaret Virany’s memoirs I read a couple years ago and really enjoyed. She has an eye for detail to set you back in decades of earlier Canada when there were horses not highways.
We sold out of the copies to spare of Barely Their (contributors who didn’t come have a copy held in reserve, for delivery, we’ll figure that out). Paid for the table at least. The print run was too small to break even on costs. 10 more would have done it. Live and learn. And figure out how many more to re-print where.

The table was fun even if only one person played with the letter stamps. Sock monkey was popular. Three different people said I should make the pakupaku fortune game.

Maureen Sandrock, one of the visual artists of the Barely Their project came and sat at the table for a bit.
It wasn’t exactly mobbed, but there was never any really dead zone of no browsing people either. Some new faces flowing thru and some familiar ones for the small press jamboree. It could be a jamboree. No one brought guitars this time tho…next time…not me. You?

David Wightman was an energetic fellow who has started a new political magazine. He had digital info of the Xray magazine: Canada’s current events and politics emagazine.

The clockmaster manning his table of goodies and hellos at the above/ground, Chaudiere and P.F.Y.C.

Sassy Sunflower Books had a table of their P.O.D. titles including Strategies for Happiness, and Biography Workbook.

BookThug was there with Jay MillAr, and his nephew, fitting it in before Jay’s AB Series reading which I hear he out outdid himself. (If only energies could go further…)
Some take-homes:

Marcus McCann’s newest chapbook, The Glass Jar to be launched on the 25th, homemade paper from Grunge Papers (some with threads, some with color inserts, some of ababa and cattail) to inspire projects), The Moose and Pussy magazine, some whimsical art cards by Colin White, objectionable perspecties by jwcurry from room 302 books.
Amanda Earl shares what finds she came home with.
