PFYC

Probably 3 dozen moseyed over for the end of year Peter F Yacht Club reading. Readings ended up being by Amanda Earl (some babble translations), Marilyn Irwin (remix of lines from other poets as part of term work with rob mclennan’s workshop group), Pearl Pirie (brought a few newish things, including scrabble nonsense poems and some lyrics things which I’m arranging into chapbook shape), Janice Tokar (who read a piece of hybrid prose poem/flash fiction), Roland Prevost (who treated us to some new things), Monty Reid (who shared some of his serial poems centered around a garden and not which are being spread thru a number of small presses) and rob mclennan (who read from his latest chapbook and the broadsheet he made for the event)

Probably all was packed and wrapped by 9:30. An early night in Ottawa.
Check Bywords.ca (events link at the top of the left column) for all that’s upcoming soon.
