The lit place to be Saturday afternoon is to check out what’s new from Chaudiere Books.
Ground Rules: the best of the second decade of above/ground press 2003-2013 is launching tomorrow, Dec 7th at 5pm at 370 Elgin St, Ottawa.
There will be readings by Sharon Harris who waslast reading in town in 2007 [two of her poems], Stephen Brockwell whose next reading in town is Dec 11th [one of his poems], and Marilyn Irwin who haunts the occasional reading [her reading poems at Diana Brebner] at this Ottawa writers fest free event at the Manx pub. It will be hosted, lovingly as ever, by editor/publisher rob mclennan.
There’s an interview with Harris on Click Here with Mitchell Caplan. Check On Demand then the Wed Dec 4th episode at 0:45 minutes in.
