André Alexis to lead online literary workshops
Before you send in your submission to this year’s competition, we thought it might be helpful to have one of Canada’s most prominent writers offer some feedback and insight into the writing process. As of October 4th, award-winning writer AndrĂ© Alexis will be our guest on the Literary Awards website, blogging and offering expert advice on anonymous excerpts of short stories currently in progress.
We are inviting you to take part in the discussion by sharing any insights or opinions that you might have on these workshops, and the writing process, on our website. By doing this we hope to inspire writers from coast to coat to engage with each other in a way that will be beneficial to all who participate!
It all begins online at www.cbc.ca/literaryawards as of Monday, October 4th and continues until October 15th. Be sure to visit the site each day for a new posting and share your thoughts with us.
