someone else’s TV’s whistle
train at grandma’s

barren trees
grass bends soft underfoot
early fall, still.

flag, scarf snaps straight out
turn bricked corner, wind shadow
pulled punch slap caress

buttered carrots
licked length dribbling
caught. flushed.
